The Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report is a new federal filing requirement resulting from the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) now enforced by the U.S. Treasury’s FinCEN (Financial Crime Enforcement Network).

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Technology Development team as a builder of software and systems aimed at driving our next generation regulatory filing and data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based platform. You will collaborate closely with Company leadership on product management and design, to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be critical in driving the success of our platform and shaping the future of business compliance technology.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient front-end and back-end solutions for our business compliance technology platform.
  • Implement clean and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of the platform.
  • Automate tests and manual processes to increase quality.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure seamless user experience across different devices and browsers.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and external systems to enhance the functionality of the platform.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical challenges, propose solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive innovation and improve development processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers as needed.
  • Contribute to the documentation of system architecture, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in web application development.
  • Expertise in TypeScript development frameworks and tools.
  • Expertise with TypeScript front end or full stack frameworks (Preferrably Next.js, then React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte, etc.)
  • Expertise or experience with front end design frameworks and systems (Preferrably Tailwind, then Ant Design, Material UI; Preferably Figma, then Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Proficiency in service design with Node.js, pnpm, npm, yarn, etc.
  • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and query optimization.
  • Experience with modern monorepo development and toolsets (PNPM workspaces, Nx, Turborepo, Vite, esbuild, etc.)
  • Experience developing, deploying, managing, and supporting applications in preferably AWS then Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Expertise or experience with Serverless architecture and frameworks (big plus for SST experience, AWS Lambda, etc.).
  • Expertise with TypeScript testing frameworks and methodologies (vitest, jest; Playwright, Puppeteer; unit, integration, e2e, etc.)
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Jira, Agile, Scrum).
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and across different departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
